My name is Ren Shimazaki and I am a UK-born Japanese Crystal Palace fan. As a long term season ticket holder, I am priveledged enough to be able to have watched football week in week out for over 10 years.Although falling asleep at my first ever Palace game, my love for football has grown massively, from being at Wembley to see us get promoted and then being back there to see us win the FA Cup.

Although I enjoy playing football, watching it from the stands and seeing the patterns behind the game has been far more appealing to me. Playing FIFA, Football Manager, and now writing about the game has allowed me to grow my knowledge of the footballing world, both on and off the pitch.

Enjoying writing throughout school and now at university, I thought it would be beneficial to start this blog, as it allows me to gather my pieces into one place, as well as hopefully sharing some insight to readers. I hope you enjoy my blogs.
